		The Oregon Sports Hall of Fame and Museum’s educational mission is to recognize and appreciate Oregon’s rich athletic history. Our goal is for this legacy to inspire participation in sport and foster awareness of the values and life-long rewards gained from this participation. The best of athletics embodies those traits we call character. We are committed to teaching and reinforcing values and life lessons: in that sports are important in developing well-rounded, active adults; and the importance of sports in society and Oregon’s impressive sports history.

We invite you to come and join us here at the Oregon Sports Hall of Fame & Museum to participate in the learning experience through Interactive Exhibits, Inspiring Films and Footage, Interesting Artifacts, and Fascinating Stories. There are also many research opportunities that offer unique insight into Oregon and World sports history. There are many activities for kids and adults alike such as Ping Pong, a racing wheelchair, the Basketball Challenge, Major League Baseball Catch, golf, table top shuffleboard, foosball, table hockey and much more.
	Some of our yearly programs include awarding Scholarships to deserving young athletes; a gala Induction Ceremony at the Multnomah Athletic Club for several new Oregon athletes, teams, coaches and other contributors to Sports.
